"Folkies to Flower Power and the Birth of Pop"

While supporting many local arts activities, our signature event is the "Singin' the 60's Festival". Presented with the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum. This is a full day of music with multiple stages and many musicians.

First Friday's at Bark Shanty - We sponsor an old fashion song circle the first Friday of every month at the Bark Shanty Community Center in Port Sanilac. Come play, sing along or just enjoy the tunes. Musicians take turns playing songs they choose or, suggested by the audience while the other musicians accompany them. Seating is provided and you are welcome to bring the beverage of your choice. Doors open at 6:30pm and music runs until around 9pm. Information and Location.

Croswell Library Concert Series - New this year we are sponsoring a free concert series on the first Tuesday of the month at the Aitkin Library from 6pm - 7pm. The library is located at 111 N.Howard Avenue in downtown Croswell. Phone: 810-679-3627.

Tuesday, October 3rd: Ourselves "Sweet & Sour Irish Love Songs"
We're excited to present Ourselves in an acoustic concert event in the Donovan Room. You'll hear sweet and sour Irish love songs. Get in the spirit and tap your feet and sing along to the upbeat folky sounds from the Trio. Ourselves features local musicians Lynn Surbrook, along with Walt and Tom Schlichting.

Tuesday, November 7th: The Black River Bluegrass Boys 
For over a decade, South-Eastern Michigan audiences have been entertained by the Black River Blue Grass Boys. In addition to playing great bluegrass, the band's stage presence assures audiences of a rollicking, entertaining, good time!

Port Sanilac Farmer's Market
- The Farmer's Market is every Friday from 2-7 p.m. beginning May 20th through October on the grounds of the Sanilac County Historical Museum. We have provided a grant for one-half of the funding for music for the 2017 season. We are also providing management of the funds. For information, contact Monica Cronin at: 810-710-0896. Farmers Market

Thumbfest 2017 Rising Stars Youth Music Competition - We are providing funding for prize money for the winners of the Rising Star competition. This is a new stage at Thumbfest to identify and promote the talent and abilities of young musicians.

World Music Show at Carsonville Port Sanilac Elementary, June 8th - We are providing funding to present this show. 

The Lakeshore Festival Chorus - We are providing a grant to help defray the cost of the purchase of music for their holiday concerts in 2017.
